    We have an opportunity for a Community Outreach Coordinator to conduct outreach in the community to inform and recruit participants to use the Career Connection Centers (C3).


    This position also provides back-up support to existing C3 staff. The Coordinator’s role serves as a champion and model of GID’s values – “FACE IT” which incorporates fun, accountability, collaboration, empowerment, innovation, and transparency in all that we do. Key functions include Customer Service, Public Speaking, Innovation, Planning/Organizing, and Professionalism.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following:

    • Conducts community outreach to potential participants in a variety of settings to inform them of C3 services.

    • Attends community meetings in a variety of settings to present on GID & C3 services. Outreaches to various other organizations to inform them of C3 services.

    • Develops an outreach plan in conjunction with the GW marketing department. Collaborates with the marketing department and the Business Development team.

    • Provides back-up support to all C3 staff/location; back-up support includes, but is not limited to implementing work skills based classes to be delivered to a youth and adult population who possess multiple barriers to gaining and maintaining employment, conducting needs assessments, maintaining participant files, monitoring of computer labs, etc.

    • Provides administrative/data entry support to ensure accurate and timely documentation of participant information/services.

    • Attends staff and program meetings as needed to provide updates and progress reports.

    • Takes ownership and is accountable for all job responsibilities. Follows through on all commitments.

    • Provides leadership, guidance, and support to clients. Acts as a positive role model by demonstrating professional appearance and interactions.

    • Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with internal and external customers. Acts with customers in mind and is dedicated to gaining their trust and meeting their expectations.

    • Provides back-up support to other Career Development Services (CDS) programs as needed.

    • Employee will spend a majority of time working in a high traffic office area and travel between offices is approximately 40%.


    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Human Services, Public Administration or related field; minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in a business setting; marketing experience preferred; instructional experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Bilingual in Spanish preferred.



    Employee is responsible for any technology or Goodwill property used in the normal course of employment will be under the safekeeping and the responsibility of the employee to maintain in good working order. Acts as good steward of program funds and resources.



    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community. Ability to write speeches and program promotional materials for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to act as a spokesperson for Goodwill programs at various school and community events. Ability to communicate with program participants and explain program services in a meaningful manner.



    Must have a clear Colorado driver’s license to drive on Goodwill business. Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and E-Verify.
