GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
The Goodtronics Processing Lead oversees the receiving and processing of goods ensuring adherence to established processing procedures, quality control standards, and pricing policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Trains employees regarding their duties, processing expectations, and safety.
Communicates processing goals to processors, oversees the receiving and processing of goods ensuring adherence to established processing procedures, quality control standards, and pricing policies.
Enters data into computer. Maintains and records processing results according to established procedures.
Maintains a clean orderly processing area. Ensures that housekeeping standards are met.
Completes volunteer paperwork. Assigns volunteers to different tasks as needed. Tracks volunteer dates and hours worked.
Reports all accidents according to established procedures.
Gives work direction and oversees work of employees to ensure job duties are being performed accurately and in a timely manner.
Performs janitorial duties as required.
Informs Assistant Manager of Goodtronics if supplies are needed.
Builds and maintains effective quality working relationships with management, co-workers customers, and donors. Uses effective written and verbal communication. Uses good interpersonal skills treating everyone with dignity and respect. Immediately advises supervisor of significant and unexpected problems. Promotes and demonstrates teamwork and cooperation.
Completes assignments, projects, reports, and paperwork accurately and timely.
Safeguards all Goodwill property including donated goods. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession/removal of Goodwill property.
Follows all Goodwill policies and procedures. Follows safety rules and regulations. Acts safely at all times.
Supports the best elements of our corporate culture while making culture change. Open to and supportive of new ideas and process improvement of systems and procedures.
Performs all production room tasks as needed.
Performs and explains all warehouse manufacturing system operations.
Works flexible schedules, overtime, weekends, evenings and holidays if required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have the functional and technical skills to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word processing software; MS Excel spreadsheet software; and MS Outlook contact management systems. Proficiency in Internet and general database concepts is preferred.
CERTIFICATES and LICENSES
Ability to pass a criminal background investigation and pre-screen. Must have a clear Colorado driver’s license and be able to drive on Goodwill business, if necessary.

Pushing and pulling in a sustained motion exerting 20 pounds of force constantly, 40 pounds of force frequently.
